Tuna Sandwich with High Fiber Bread for a Balanced Meal

With so many foods to choose from it can often become a bit confusing as to what is the best thing to eat. There are the basic food sources and eating a balance of those is a great rule to go by for healthy living.

If you can think back to when you were going to elementary or middle school and what you ate for lunch, you will probably remember your favorite lunch box or brown bag and some type of sandwich and fruit. The tuna sandwich is on the menu for lunch all throughout our life times and this is a very good thing. When we were younger it was probably on white bread and made with a whole lot of mayonnaise and tasted very, very yummy. When you are older you can still enjoy these tuna fish sandwiches but since your body does not burn the calories like it used too and you are taking your Acceletrim to help rev up your metabolism, you can make the sandwich healthier than before.

When you make the tuna sandwich, keep your mind on low fat and high fiber. This means getting some of that bread that is packed with fiber and other vitamins and minerals, you can find this stuff in the real healthy part of the store, often in the frozen section. You want to use low fat mayonnaise and keep it to a small amount. You can chop up celery real small and add it in when you mix up the tuna and mayonnaise, this will add on more fiber. The bread can be slightly toasted in the oven or toasted with a toaster, this can really make the tuna sandwich taste a lot better and hold up through the meal. You don’t want the sandwich falling apart, that could cause quite a mess. If you are interested in trying something new, top the sandwich off with some Old Bay Seasoning, or at least try it on a part of the tuna sandwich to make sure that you like it.

The best part about this meal is that it does not take that much time and has a decent amount of protein, fiber, and carbohydrates. Plus, it tastes really good and can stir up some very fond memories from your childhood. It is neat how eating something like this can bring up fun stuff from the past.
